CORE-LOGIC // DATA HANDLING

Privacy Protocol

Plain terms, no legalese theatre. Here is exactly what this terminal stores, where it stores it, and what it never does.

What we collect

VORTEX ARCHIVE runs without a database. We collect only what you deliberately transmit through the two forms on this site:

  • Subscribe to Grid: the email address you submit, appended to a flat text record on the server.
  • Establish Comms: the callsign, email, and message you submit, appended to a flat text record on the server.

Each record is timestamped and tagged with the originating IP address for abuse prevention. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or behavioural trackers.

Neural Link (local state)

The consent overlay labelled "Neural Link" stores a single value in your browser's localStorage under the key vx_neural_link. This value records only whether you accepted or declined the link. It never leaves your device, it is not a cookie, and it is not transmitted to any server. Clear your browser storage and the prompt returns.

Third parties

Typography is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google may log that request per its own policy. No other third party receives your data. We do not sell, rent, or share form submissions with anyone.

Retention & your rights

Form records persist on the server until they are no longer needed for correspondence, then they are purged. To request a copy of what you submitted, or to have it deleted, open a channel through Establish Comms using the same email you submitted.
